Have you ever wondered why things are always hard for you? How it’s a real fight for you to get what you want, even the things that comes much easily for others? The road is never smooth for you. There’s always someone or something that comes against you to bring you down. You even face persecution from people you least expect and your adversaries seem to multiply daily!

I recently came to learn that our enemies believe in us. They are afraid of us because they know our worth and potential and don’t want us to reach it. Why else would they do all that they can to put us down and stop us from moving forward? No one puts all their strength into stopping someone succeed unless they see them as a threat.

So friends, if the devil or even people have been coming against you strong, trying by all means to impede you from moving forward, it’s because they are afraid of you. They are afraid of what you will become, which is someone great in life, someone who will make a difference.

God has a great plan for our lives and our enemies know this! Don’t give them the satisfaction of seeing you down. Though the fight is hard and at times tiresome, keep going. Rise above all the negativity you see and hear and look ahead at your goal.
The harder the fight, the greater the victory!

I don’t know about you, but I can’t stand to be around someone who nags all the time. If there was a degree in complaining some people would pass with flying colours because that’s their speciality. They complain about everything and anything. Even if there is nothing to complain about, they create a reason to complain.

These type of people (and I used to be one so I know) make it impossible for people to be around them. People flee from them at any given chance. It’s unattractive and puts a burden on those around you. Yes, there may be situations where you feel the need to vent out your frustration, or because you have faced an injustice, but merely complaining to every tom, dick and harry, is not necessary. It gives you the title of an “old nag”.

Nagging does not change anything. Believe me, I know. When I learned this and stopped to be a constant nag, I gained more friends and was not hard to approach but on the contrary, people liked being around me. I also was able to see things in a different way and find solutions to the problems I so often complained about.

So, instead of complaining about your life or a particular situation, do something about it.

“Tears of pain cried every night because you wish you did not have to live one more day in this miserable world. The countless nights you stay awake because you suffer gravely with nightmares and panic attacks. Never ending complaints about how you wish you were born into a different family and how you long to fit in with the popular crowd at school”. Are these things your all would speak? Well, they were words my walls once spoke but now they sing a new song.

My walls say, “Tears of joy for victories overcame. Sounds of laughter that fills the room. A profound belief in better and glorious days to come. Confidence in who she is and above all, an ever growing relationship with an unseen but True Love that is the reason for her happiness, joy, peace and strength."

No matter what the writing on your wall is today, tomorrow your wall can be singing a new song.

You have more power over your life than you think. If you desire a better life, a new you, you can achieve this. You have to take the decision to change; no one can do that for you. The best advice I can give you is to place your entire life in God’s hands, with no reserves and trust in Him.
Then, “God will wipe away every tear from your eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away…Behold, He makes all things new.” – Revelation 21:4-5
