Today was the day of the anticipated Break the Silence, End the Violence event. For those who have been following my blog in the past three weeks will notice every post was related to domestic violence. I engaged in this campaign to help create awareness and be a voice to victims of abuse who are suffering in silence.

Today I took part in the event which was sponsored by the Godllywood and Rahab group and marched the streets of North London with hundreds of women. After the march,  an informative live show from the Rainbow Theatre was presented by the presenters of two women's chat show, A Different Kind of Woman and The Chrissy B Show to break the silence and let victims of abuse know they is help out there for them regardless of their situation. There is a way out!

The event may have ended by the work continues and for the next 16 days I will be sharing more stories of domestic violence survivors who I know as well as sharing information and places where domestic violence victims can get help.
