Have you ever found yourself worrying but I mean worrying too much about something? It eats up your day doesn't it? Every minute of the day your mind is constantly thinking about the problem. And to make it worse it's usually problems or situations we have no control of.

I have found myself in this situation many times, hallowing and stressing myself, even just the other day until this verse came into my head “can all your worries add a single moment to your life?” –Matthew 6:27. At that instance I started analysing the situation and realised there was nothing I could do about it.

My worrying was not going to change the situation so why continue allowing it to bother me? I put it to God in prayer (which I should have done at the beginning) and went about my day. I started focusing on things I could do something about and I notice how swiftly my attitude changed, how light I was and how new opportunities arose. This is because I let go of the worries and turned my attention to other things.

“Worrying is like a rocking chair, it will give you something to do, but it will not get you anywhere”.
