My fellowship (partnership, closeness) with God enables me to have victory over Satan. When we stop to read the Word of God and invest in our relationship with Him, we become weak. Therefore we do not even have strength to fight against the problems and as a result our enemy takes advantage of them. The devil knows how powerful the word of God is and how it can change our life for the Bible teaches us that faith comes by hearing word of God. “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”, Romans 10:17
So if you find yourself weak in your faith, it may be because you are not filling your mind with word of God or if you are reading it, you are not putting it into practice.
So true, we get away from the source,the fuel that keeps our fire burning in our soul. So true. We must fill our minds with God so we will be full of the direction we need to overcome all evil.
